Most of these seven handkerchiefs date from around the 1950's. The smallest has a scalloped edge, floral embroidery, measures 9" x 10" and has some staining. The next actually appears to be an oblong dresser scarf, is made of white linen with embroidery and a crocheted edge, and measures 17" x 12". The third is delicate white linen with a tattered tiny crocheted edge and measures 11" x 11". The next is a 12" x 12" square of white linen and a pink, white, and blue crocheted edge. The fifth is white with pink and yellow floral designs in each corner, measures 12" x 12", has a pink and white crocheted edge, and has some light staining. The next is about 14" x 14" with a pink crocheted edge, and pink striping along the edges. The last is the largest and measures 17" x 18", is made of a cream colored linen, and has a marvelously embroidered W in one corner. There is some edgewear in that particular corner. None of these vintage pieces have been laundered.
